Hi Janet,

I’m thinking of you this morning. It was five years ago today Renee and I met you to pick up our Maggie! It has been such a wonderful ride with her…I can’t even tell you! I love that dog so, so much!

We go on a four mile run most nights. She has become my running buddy and last month we actually won a medal together! Our runs take us past fox and squirrels. Squirrels are clearly her favorite! Actually, truth be told, she lives to see the squirrels!

Joe and I went to the Indy 500 a couple of weeks ago and the hardest part for both of us was leaving Maggie. We have really become a great family…or in her words…pack! Joe and I are getting married September 17th and Maggie is quite pleased.

I’m attaching a more recent picture of Maggie and Renee’s dog Luna – her best friend.
Thank you so much for making this possible for us! I can’t tell you how Maggie has changed all of our lives.
